- Valid Passport
- Most recent I-94
- Valid I-20

Social Security Card
F1 Students are not automatically issued Social Security cards. However, in order to get a drivers license you may need a Social Security card or a Letter of Ineligibility (also referred to as a denial letter) from the Social Security Administration (SSA) stating that you are not eligible for a Social Security card. SEPTA
SEPTA (Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority) is one of the largest transit systems in the country, serving five counties in the Greater Philadelphia area. SEPTA also connects to transit systems in Delaware and New Jersey. Services include regional rail, buses, trolleys, subways, and a high-speed line.
Philadelphia
Philadelphia is one of the most historical cities in the Unites States and it is the second largest city on the East Coast and the 6th largest in the United States. Philadelphia, the birthplace of our nation was founded in 1682 by William Penn, Philadelphia is a bastion of American history. The Declaration of Independence was signed here, along with a document known as the Constitution. Philadelphia even served as the nation’s capital for 10 years while D.C. was under construction.
The Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art (home to the iconic “Rocky stairs”) are just a few of the many symbols of Philadelphia’s long, rich history scattered throughout the city. Also, tour Old City Philadelphia and visit the National Constitution Center, the Franklin Institute, the Academy of Natural Sciences, and Reading Terminal Market.
Philadelphia offers much more than cobblestone streets and historical landmarks. Cultural, culinary, artistic and ethnic treasures abound in this city and its surrounding countryside. The city is home to hundreds of neighborhoods, each with its own distinct personality and attractions; and is close to the best the region has to offer, from farmers markets in Lancaster County, snow sport in the Poconos Mountains, beaches at the New Jersey Shore, and historical sites from Civil and Revolutionary Wars.
